El Tunco - Suchitoto - Ruta de las Flores - El Tunco
El Salvador is a small country, the smallest in Central America, you can see probably half of it in this brief but complete tour. Start your tour with an optional pickup at the San Salvador International Airport. Then drive to your Hotel in El Tunco, located in a great spot with beautiful sunsets. Enjoy the seabreeze and take optional surf lessons or have some drinks at Sunset. Meet our local guide who will provide you important information about El Salvador and all the places visited. Next day travel to Suchitoto, an authentic town in the north of El Salvador, known for its cobblestone streets and red roof houses. Many Civil War History surrounds Suchitoto. Next Day, we travel to our Hotel in Juayua, in the heart of Ruta de las Flores. This area is known for its great coffee, beautiful landscapes and murals in the streets. Our last day we travel back to El Tunco to enjoy our last sunset and night by the beach.
Day 1: El Tunco
Try to arrive early to enjoy the beach as much as possible. El Tunco Beach is known for its great surfing and lively weekend nightlife. We stay at Hotel El Tunco Lodge(or equivalent), check-in is around 14:00. First Night we meet at Hotel Lobby, Meeting at 18:00. 30min Briefing about the Tour. Then we go for dinner and then enjoy the great nightlife of El Tunco!
Day 2: Suchitoto
We leave El Tunco at 10:00 and drive 2:30 hours to Suchitoto, we stay at Hotel Posada Altavista(or equivalent). Included Suchitoto Town Tour in the afternoon. Suchitoto is a very authentic town with its cobble-stone streets and lovely traditional neo-colonial architecture. Suchitoto's History includes many stories of the Civil War as Guerrilla Bases where located nearby. Optional Activities include a Hike in Cinquera Forest, Kayaking in the Lake Suchitlan.
Day 3: Juayua
We leave Suchitoto at 10:00 and we drive 3 hours to our Hotel in Juayua. We stay in Hotel Anahuac(or equivalent). We check out Juayua during the Weekends Food Festival, you can try many of the local food here, corn, beef, pupusas, plantains, hen soup... Then we travel to Ataco, 30 minutes away to checkout its murals. Ruta de las Flores is a Road in the Coffee Mountains of Western El Salvador, flowers bloom after rainy season, around Dec. This area is known for its authentic feel, great shopping and coffee. Optional activity here is a Coffee Tour.
Day 4: El Tunco
We leave Juayua at 10:00 and we drive 3 hours to El Tunco, we stay at Hotel El Tunco Lodge(or equivalent). Last afternoon and night together, optional activities are surf lessons or just laying at the beach.
