Tour Itinerary
We pickup at 8:30am, we drive one hour and a half to Tazumal, which has the biggest Mayan Pyramid in El Salvador, we take a 1 hour walking tour around the site. Tazumal was a ceremonial place where ancient Mayans performed rituals. Tazumal is one of the most important Mayan sites in El Salvador. Tazumal is located in the department of Chalchuapa, which is also famous for its local yuca and pork rind food. Then we drive one hour to Cafe Albania, this is the park where the Bike Zipline and Rainbow Slide are included. After this activity we can have lunch at a nearby restaurant in Ruta de las Flores, or anywhere around the route, then we turn back to San Salvador to arrive around 5pm.
