Tour Itinerary
Pickup is at 9AM. We drive to downtown San Salvador and we walk on its parks as we explain the history of San Salvador. We will walk in Parque Barrios, and go inside buildings like the Cathedral and National Palace if these are open. We will also visit the inside of Iglesia Rosario, if there is no mass. The new Library is also located here and we take you there just for a brief walk inside. Then we drive to the Boqueron National Park that is located right at the crater of San Salvador Volcano, which is still active. There is a steep uphill walk of approx 20 minutes to get to the nicest viewpoint. Then we drive to the slopes of San Salvador Volcano, where Picnic Steakhouse is located. We include the Rainbow Slide and if you want to stay having a meal, you can do so. The view from Picnic is beautiful and the food and drinks are great as well.
